The State of Hawaii, Department of Accounting and General Services
(DAGS), Public Works Division (DPW) requests information aboutproducts and methods to improve the existingwater conditions byminimizing or eliminating the various algae and other deleterious substances thereby remedying the unsightly appearance.
This Request for Information is intended toserve as a lead into interim corrective measures, as well as to provide background information for the ongoing long-term effort to upgrade the pools pursuant to theproject titled State Capitol, Renovate Reflecting Pools, DAGS Job No. 12-10-0316. This project should replace the leaking membrane, upgrade the water circulation system and include filtration, refinish the pool surfaces, and provideancillary work, subject to funding.
